Solis has been an official partner with BMW since 2018 in installing car chargers. But in June 2019, BMW expanded that partnership and brought Solis in on their latest advance in electric car charging. BMW is now offering wireless car charging in select markets.
In California, Solis handles all the pre-approvals for installs and does all the installations in Southern California. Not every residential electrical system can handle the demands of the wireless charging stations. Solis evaluates each BMW customer eligible for wireless charging to insure a successful installation. The Solis team begins working with each customer as soon as they sign their lease so the whole process goes smoothly.
Wireless charging stations cut charging time in half. Syncing the car is as simple as driving up into the garage, over the charging pad. As pictured below, a screen in the car indicates when the car is positioned correctly and charging.
The typical install of the wireless charging station only takes half a day and is permitted within the local jurisdiction. The Solis team works with BMW, local permitting office and each customer to guarantee a seamless install process.
