Fred Berg started with a small vision to provide electrical services in the Orange County area. In celebrating 25 years of operation, growth and steady service, here are a few comments from Fred about the radical shifts in the sector and Solis’ plans for the next 25 years.
One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing is in how we report a job well done to our customers. It used to be that our customers would be on site so we could take them through the completed job. Now our customers rely on technology for that assurance. With that in mind, the electronic work orders we’ve developed allow us to report on job progress, time estimates and completion. This data allows us to provide customers with the information they need for each job site.
Our customers expect us to deliver quality work, in a timely fashion. That responsiveness is a value we show our customers, but it’s also how we handle changes to the industry. Technology will continue to change. We’re upgrading our main operating system so the back office can better support our techs in the field. We’re moving into the future with the same responsiveness, level of attention and emphasis on communication that’s been in place since we started 25 years ago.
